On Sunday 21st May, Northern Chords Festival will present a concert at Newcastle Cathedral in celebration of the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. Northern Chords are thrilled that the world famous London Mozart Players will be at the festival for the first time, and they will be joined by award winning choir Voices of Hope. HOME is a new opera written for and by the community of North Shields, exploring what ‘home’ means through spoken word, song, dance and music. The project involves 230 North Shields residents in a confidence-building and interactive creative process where they dance, sing, act and are involved in the writing process.
