Sine Nomine and Fenham Ensemble join forces for an evening performance at St James’ & St Basils’ Church in Fenham.

Two fabulous choirs with their award-winning conductors present a wonderful concert of choral music spanning half a millennium. There will be different treatments of familiar texts, well-known pieces and some relatively unknown contemporary compositions. There will be a dip into the Mulitiude of Voyces, German music and a couple of Coronation Anthems. The interesting pairings and dramatic contrasts will thrill, entertain, stimulate and excite.

Music by George Frederic Handel, Hubert Parry, Gustav Holst, Arvo Pärt, William Byrd, Charles Villiers Stanford, Janet wheeler, Urmas Sisask, Claudio Monteverdi, Maurice Duruflé, Leksandr Konysky, Elenor Daley, Heinrich Shütz, Felix Mendelssohn, Alison Willis, Undine Smith Moore, Bob Chilcott, Len Young and Anton Bruckner.
