From our school festival days in the City Centre and The Ouseburn, to pop-up performance opportunities for adult choirs, CPD for teachers and the award-winning Newcastle Youth Choir Project, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
Festival Days for schools
Newcastle Sings offers Festival Singing Days for schools at a variety of locations in Newcastle City Centre, including the Great North Museum, the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle Cathedral, Newcastle City Library, Seven Stories and the Cycle Hub. pop-up performances for adult choirs
Offering opportunities for local amateur choirs to perform in a variety of city-centre venues, Newcastle Sings’ pop-up choir performances are relaxed, informal and a great way for local groups to attract new members and showcase their choir. Newcastle Sings offers bespoke schools’ workshops, performances and CPD sessions for teachers. Our next event is the Singposium on Friday 18th October 2024 in partnership with Sing for Pleasure and Palladio Education.
